MOTOGOLF RETURN/CANCELLATION POLICY

Any warranty covering products sold by Motogolf.com is the warranty provided by the manufacture/distributor of those products. We have provided their warranty information below for your convenience:

Motogolf Return Policy:
No cancellations on special order items or pre-orders once the order has been placed. For order cancellations prior to shipment, we will need to assess a handling & credit card processing fee of 3% which will be deducted from the refund.

Within 30 days of purchase, if a customer has a change of mind the cart can be returned only providing:

1. The cart is completely unused and brand new
2. It is in original packaging & new/unused condition
3. The owner pays the return freight
4. A return authority is obtained first from US distributor/manufacturer through Motogolf
5. Original shipping fee + handling fee will be deducted from the refund (approx $120)

Within 30 days of purchase, the owners can return a "used cart". Even if used on driveways, backyard, etc... this is not considered new any longer and not saleable as new:

1. A return authority is obtained first
2. It is in the original packaging
3. The owner pays the return freight
4. Up to 30% restocking fee applies of the full retail price

The cart will be returned to Distributor/Manufacturer's warehouse and inspected by their personnel. Once we receive the return paperwork along with the condition of the unit, we will issue a refund net of fees above.

Refund policy

At EgoCaddy, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products. Below are the details of our refund, return, and exchange policies to help you understand how we handle these requests.

1. 30-Day Return or Exchange

• Unwanted Items (Not Quality Issues):
  If you wish to return or exchange an unsatisfying item within 30 days of delivery, you may do so.  Customers will cover the return shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee will be charged on the order amount.
• Broken or Defective Products Within 30 Days:
  If your product arrives damaged or becomes defective within the first 30 days, we will provide a new replacement part or exchange the entire product at no additional cost to you. The buyer will not be responsible for any charges.

2. Conditions for Returns and Exchanges

• Original Condition:
  Items must be returned in their original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and parts included. The product must be in a resalable condition without any signs of wear or use.
• Entire Golf Caddy Returns:
  To return or exchange the entire golf caddy, the item should be packed in its original package to ensure safe transit and proper inspection.
• Proof of Purchase:
  A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges. Please note that we will not process returns or exchanges from any distributors or local stores.
• Non-Returnable Items:
  Certain items, such as custom or personalized products, final sale items, and gift cards, are not eligible for return or exchange.

3. Return Process

To initiate a return, please first contact our authorized dealer at sales@motogolf.com who will then reach out to us. Our team will guide you through the return process and provide any necessary instructions, including a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number if applicable.

4. Refunds

• Processing Time:
  Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days and will be credited back to your original payment method.
• Shipping Costs:
  If the return is due to a product defect or an error on our part, we will cover all shipping costs. For other returns, a 20% restocking fee will apply, and the original shipping costs will not be refunded.

5. Cancellation or Change of Order Details

• Online Orders:
  If you need to cancel your order or change the shipping address, please contact us before the order is dispatched. Once the order has been dispatched, we cannot accept any cancellations or changes.

Limited Product Warranty

At EgoCaddy, we stand behind the quality of our products and are committed to providing exceptional service. Our warranty policy outlines the terms and conditions of our warranty coverage, ensuring that your experience with our products remains worry-free.

To ensure a smooth process for warranty support, please keep your purchase receipt, invoice, and other relevant paperwork for your EgoCaddy product as proof of purchase for future service inquiries. This will help us provide fast and efficient service in case of a warranty claim. Please note that only purchase receipts issued by EgoCaddy or distributors authorized by EgoCaddy are valid for warranty. All refunds, returns, and replacements will only be processed after the original products have been received and inspected at our local warehouse.

1. Warranty Duration and Coverage

EgoCaddy's warranty is valid from the date of purchase and covers the following components:

The EgoCaddy smart follow me cart, charger and battery are covered by a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase. Manufacturer warranty covers working parts of cart, battery, charger under normal usage. Any mis-use of carts and physical damage of products will not be covered. See refund policy for more info. Certain parts are not included in warranty, e.g. seat, cellphone holder, cup holder, umbrella holder, scorecard holder and remote control. The warranty is not transferable and only covers purchases made in Canada. Used follow me carts are not subject to any warranty unless specified.

2. Shipping Caddies for EgoCaddy Service/Repairs/Inspection

• Within Warranty Repairs/Inspection:
  If your caddy requires repair or inspection within the warranty period, we provide these services free of charge. However, a reasonable ship fee may apply to bring the caddy into service. When returning a caddy for repair or inspection under warranty, it must be packed in a suitable or original box with adequate protection. You can purchase the original packing box from us before returning the caddy to a EgoCaddy repair center.

  Please note that until the caddy is received into the repair center, we are not responsible for any damage or loss caused during transportation/shipping. Once received, it is our responsibility to ensure the caddy is safely delivered back to you.

• Outside Warranty Repairs/Inspection:
  For repairs or inspections outside the warranty period, all shipping, repair, and service charges will be your responsibility. The caddy must be packed in a suitable or original box with adequate protection. You can purchase the original packaging from us before returning the caddy to a EgoCaddy repair center.

3. Warranty Exclusions

The following events will void the warranty:

• Any alteration performed by non-authorized people or companies.
• Fitting of parts or accessories not recommended by EgoCaddy.
• Any damage caused by continued operation of the product after it is known to be defective.
• Damage to the seat and/or seat support bracket on the unit.
• Damage caused by partial or complete ingress of water into the motor/gearbox and other major components.
• Damage caused by the unit being driven into bunkers, other course hazards, or clubhouse and carpark hazards.
• Damage caused by golf balls or golf clubs.
• Application of external force to any part of the unit or battery.
• Fusion of motor or electronics through overload or continual stationary operation.
• All implied warranties [save those preserved by statute] are excluded. Liability for consequential damages under any and all warranties is excluded to the extent exclusion is permitted by law.

The following events are not covered under warranty:

• Normal wear and tear (e.g., tires, rubber handlebar, elastic straps, paintwork, battery performance, axle threads, charging ports on batteries and remotes, screen glass, etc.).
• Minor appearance defects that do not affect the operation of the unit and are considered by the manufacturer to be within accepted standards.
• EgoCaddy cart is water-resistant and safe to use under normal condition of rain will not damage the trolley. However, this E-caddy is not waterproof. The battery and mainboard will die if it goes into a water hazard such as a pond or lake. This is not covered under the warranty plan.
• Failures due to accidental damage, improper use, self-dismantling or misuse are not covered. The follow mode is used on the fairway, not in parking lots or crowded spaces.

4. Parts Installed During Warranty

Warranty coverage for components installed during a unit’s warranty period will last for the duration of the model's warranty period, provided the warranty installation is performed by EgoCaddy, an authorized service center, or the owner with approval.
